Nintendo officially announced that a live-action Link is will grace the big screen.
After a supposed decade in the works and 35 years of fans imagining what a movie would look like, Nintendo has officially willed a feature film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda into existence.
Director Wes Ball opened up for the first time about Nintendo's planned The Legend of Zelda live-action movie, saying he hopes to make it feel like a real-life take on the work of legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.
With Shigeru Miyamoto's involvement, the new Zelda movie can be considered canon and fans can expect his seal of approval on the story and character portrayals.
It's safe to say that Link is generally on the younger side and under the age of 18, regardless of his incarnation. Hyrule Historia says that Link is 10 years old in the first game, The Legend of Zelda. In Adventure of Link, the hero is age 16. In an interview, Eiji Aonuma said the Link in Twilight Princess is 17.
Although Link is a male character, Aonuma said that he wanted him to be gender neutral in Ocarina of Time: "I wanted the player to think 'Maybe Link is a boy or a girl'. If you saw Link as a guy, he'd have more of a feminine touch.
With so much at stake, and so many eyes upon him, he feels it necessary to stay strong and to silently bear any burden. A feeling I know all too well... For him, it has caused him to stop outwardly expressing his thoughts and feelings.
Link has (Mostly) Been a Silent Protagonist
Besides some screams and shouts, Link doesn't say much of anything throughout any of his games. He's not the only silent protagonist out there either.
There is no Legend of Zelda series coming to Netflix.
Set in the fictional realm of Hyrule, the Legend of Zelda games are known for their rich storytelling, puzzles, exploration, and iconic items like the Master Sword and Triforce.
How old is Link in tears of the kingdom?
So Link is about 123 - 127 years old in Tears of the Kingdom. Aragorn is 87 years old during the events of The Lord of the Rings, so youthful, but aged swordsmen abound in fantasy.
Only in the CDi games, which, according to Nintendo, do not exist, never existed, and we don't talk about that. Officially, it's a standing rule of the series that Link never speaks. Even in games where all dialog is in text, his dialogue is always “…” and is meant to be inferred by the player.
Link's Height In Breath Of The Wild

My personal pick would be Thomas Brodie-Sangster. He looks the part the most and played a similar character in Game of Thrones, as well as bringing box office experience from The Maze Runner. He's not as famous as Holland or Chalamet, but he's not an unknown either, and this role could define his career.
In actuality, they almost never end up together or strike up a romantic relationship. Most of the time, Link and Zelda maintain a strictly platonic relationship, with even a few instances of them simply having a professional one.
In some games, like The Adventure of Link and Oracle of Ages, Zelda and Link are undeniably in love, with moments like sharing a kiss or going on dates. The future of Zelda and Link's relationship is uncertain, but they are bound to each other, whether as friends or something more.
The reason behind Link 's various heights is twofold: Different games show Link at different ages, and different games show different versions of Link. In the Legend of Zelda timeline, Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf are continually reincarnated to participate in a battle between good and evil.
Link's design in The Legend of Zelda was changed to make him more attractive and hot, based on a suggestion from Koizumi's wife. The choice of a "world-famous Hollywood actor" as inspiration for Link's appearance adds an interesting layer to the character's design and appeal.
Why is Link a DEKU?
Link becomes Deku Link in the beginning after being cursed by the Skull Kid. By reclaiming his Ocarina and talking with the Happy Mask Salesman, Link turns back into his normal form and receives the Deku Mask, which has the power to transform Link back into Deku Link.
According to Shigeru Miyamoto, his full name is Link Link. This ties back to the infamous 1993 Super Mario Bros movie, which featured a scene revealing Mario's surname is Mario, making him Mario Mario and his brother Luigi Mario.
Link is designed to be an Avatar. He himself doesn't have autism.
Link is left-handed…mostly.
This was done to better suit right-handed players taking advantage of the motion controls of the Wii Remote controller.
Although romantic interest is heavily hinted at in Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild, they never officially kiss. I think the closest thing to a canon relationship they got was the end of Spirit Tracks where the two held hands.
