Nowadays, there are nearly as many female gamers as male gamers, although it's still not a 50:50 split. The ratio came closest to that (52% men and 48% women).
In 2023, women accounted for 46 percent of gamers in the United States, down from 48 percent of U.S. gamers identifying as women during the previous year.
